Navigating Pacific Hearts is a project focused on reduce the impact of heart disease in the Pacific Islander community. The two files below are in-language Tongan resources created by the project. They include questions individuals can from their doctors and ten tips for maintaining a healthy heart.
DOJ’s Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Listening Session is still scheduled to take place on Thursday, January 22, 2014 from 6-9 pm at the Carson Community Center, 801 E. Carson St., Carson City, CA. DOJ will be at the Carson Center two hours before scheduled event to work with interpreters.
